Catch Up & Big News!!

It’s been too long since Breezy Day Weddings has posted an update but it doesn’t mean that we haven’t been busy! So much to tell everyone and catch you up on!

First of all the big and exciting news that we can now officially announce!! Breezy Day Weddings has expanded to include floral design! With this exciting expansion, Heather transitions from being a consultant/assistant to a full-fledged co-owner and floral designer. Heather studied at the American School of Flower Design under celebrity floral designer, Michael Gaffney and she is happiest when she’s working with flowers.

With this growth we decided that it was time to revamp our website (www.breezydayweddings.net) and give our logo a little bit of love as well. We’ve spent the past several months working with a website designer on our new site and we’re quite proud of it. We hope everyone can check it out and spread the word to all of your newly engaged friends!

If you follow Breezy Day Weddings on Instagram you’ll see that wedding season kicked off for us in April with a beautiful wedding at the Bali Hai with Amy and Francisco. We had so much fun with this wonderful family and enjoyed every second of this great celebration of love. Since then we have had the pleasure of coordinating the big days for Alisa and Jason at The Bristol Hotel as well as Karla and RJ at The Prado. It is still such an honor for us to have these couples put all of their wedding day plans into our hands and trust that we will bring them to life.

Things start to pick up for us in July and by the time fall comes around we are going to be busy busy bees! We are thrilled to have weddings booked at the Southwestern Yacht Club, La Estancia, The Prado, The Bahia, as well as Levyland, the Point Loma Naval Base, Paradise Point, Orfillia Winery, Humphrey’s Half Moon Bay Inn and The Catamaran.

It hasn’t been all work for us though; in April we took a trip to San Francisco to see the sights, took in a ballgame at AT&T Park and had a great visit with family.

The weekend after San Francisco we headed up to Big Bear Mountain to celebrate our cousin Jessie’s bachelorette weekend. We had the time of our lives with all of Jessie’s girlfriends and let loose with a round (or two) of karaoke.

It was just a few weeks later that it was our turn to take off the Wedding Coordinator hat and put on the bridesmaid hat for our beautiful cousin Jessie. Not only were we thrilled to be a part of Jessie and Graham’s big day up at the Women’s Twentieth Century Club of Eagle Rock in Los Angeles; this was the first official Breezy Day Florals wedding! There is so much excitement around this that we will post a separate blog just for the occasion… stay tuned.
